Gene
Gene is a Mii from the Switch.
Gene originally appeared as the default Mii for the Genie of the Lamp role in the files of Miitopia (Switch, Demo), but unused within the demo itself. He later appeared in the full game of Miitopia (Switch). Once the player replaces him with a Mii of their choice, Gene would never appear again, unless that Mii is deleted. His Mii data file can be found in \cmn\storedata\npc_default_mii.sarc and is named Town01_Genie.charinfo.
His Mii name in his Mii data file is ジンジン, which translates to "jinjin". His build is set to 88. His Mii ID is as follows: FC 2E 4F 48 7B 8E 47 45 91 DD C2 2A C3 F5 2D 67
His Mii data file does not contain any unused Mii data.

Gene's role in Miitopia (the Genie of the Lamp) is described as so:
Used to cause no end of trouble until
the Great Sage sealed him in a lamp.
He seems to bear resemblance to a Mii featured in Miitopia (3DS) promo art, as it seems a handful of the Miitopia Switch default Miis were based around Miis that appeared in promo art for the original game, but it's unconfirmed if Gene and the promo art Mii are meant to be the same character.
The names of the default Miis in Miitopia Switch often vary drastically depending on region. Gene's name on the Mii Library is going off of the US English version, for consistency. A chart containing all of Gene's names is located at the bottom of this page.
Out of all the Miis in the Miitopia (Switch) Demo, Gene is the only Mii to use the new Switch-exclusive custom colors. In this case, he uses them for his glasses.
Image appearances
A very similar Mii also appears in promo art for Miitopia (3DS), where he's given the Genie of the Lamp role as well. Note differences in his design, like hair color.
