Barret

Barret is a Mii from the Switch.

Barret appears as one of the Miis that are fought in the Sephiroth DLC Spirit Board in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate since update 10.1.0, and he hasn't appeared in any game since. His Mii data file filename is edge_spirits_mii02.bin, with "edge" standing for Sephiroth.

He is based off a character in Final Fantasy VII with the same name. That character is the leader of a group called the Avalanche. Other members of the group are Jessie (Switch), Tifa, Wedge, and Biggs.

His Mii name in his Mii data file is バレット1 (Barret1).

His Mii ID is as follows: B9 62 5A 2B CF 45 49 36 A3 81 95 1C 4A C4 1B FB

Currently, it's unknown whether or not he has unused Mii data - there is no way of knowing his Smash color (as Smash Ultimate can save a favorite color separate from a Mii's actual favorite color) as the Barret's Outfit does not display any changes if the Smash color is changed. However, if the player has not bought the Barret's Outfit DLC, then his Smash color is forest green, hiding his favorite color brown. This could mean his Smash color with the Barret's Outfit is also forest green, or even brown, but there's no way to be sure.

Note that the eye color and skin color get lost in Wii U/3DS conversion. Don't know how a Switch Mii has a QR code? Read the FAQ.

Information

Barret makes an appearance in one spirit battle, unlocked on the DLC Spirit Board if Fighters Pass 2 or Sephiroth's DLC is purchased. He will appear in the spirit battle for the spirit "Barret", alongside Jessie (Switch) (who is holding a Bob-omb) Wedge, and Biggs. Barret appears after these three are defeated. The Barret Mii Fighter must be defeated for the player to win. Depending on whether or not the player has bought the Barret's Outfit DLC, his Smash information will change.

With the Barret's Outfit Mii Fighter costume DLC (left), his Smash color is currently unknown (as his outfit does not display it), and in battle, he always appears as a Gunner and wears the Barret's Outfit with no headgear. His neutral special is set to 3 - Grenade Launch. His side special is set to 3 - Gunner Missile. His up special is set to 1 - Lunar Launch. His down special is set to 2 - Bomb Drop. (Moveset: 3312.) His voice is set to Type 3, with a Low pitch. You can see a screenshot of how he appears in-game (should the player have the Barret's Outfit Mii Fighter costume DLC) on the left.

Without the Barret's Outfit Mii Fighter costume DLC (right), his Smash color is forest green, and in battle, he always appears as a Gunner and wears the Wild West Wear with no headgear. You can see a screenshot of how he appears in-game (should the player not have the Barret's Outfit Mii Fighter costume DLC) on the right.

Image appearances

Barret unfortunately does not appear as a Mii in any promo art released. However, he does appear as his human character in promo art for Final Fantasy VII, which also appeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as spirit art for the Barret spirit, which can be seen on the left. He does appear as his Mii in an official screenshot, shown below.
